Family in NC and random Virginia day trips: Northern Neck, Richmond, Hardy, Fort Monroe, Appomattox, and Fredericksburg

Ok, so we didn't forget to tell you. We were literally so busy exploring the region and getting those stamps in our National Park Passport book that we didn't have time to pause and tell you about each trip. We will try and do better in the future. This post has the potential for being long but we will try and keep it short and sweet.

We just got back from a run down to the Charlotte, NC area for a little family time with Bob's siblings. We didn't do much just 24 hours of talking...so no fun pics.

I am going to take you backward through our summer so I don't lose track.

We have 6 Virginia locations left on our bucket list, they are all in Northern Virgina...which we avoid like the plague. I guess we will have to suck it up like a buttercup, wish us luck!
